When is item considered to be vintage?

That is debatable. And so we focus on second-hand aspect. Our pieces are mostly from 90’s and early 2000’s but we also have a lot from 80s or even modern ones from couple years ago. We think that all of them have their own charm.

Why some items have tags that say Burberrys and some Burberry?

Known as Burberry, British luxury fashion brand actually started as Burberrys, only in 1999 that the name was changed. So pieces that have Burberrys tag are not only 100% authentic, but also are assured to be vintage.

Is this sustainable fashion?

Yes. From people to people. Every piece is second-hand and planet friendly.

Is this a small business?

Yes! Which means we are very personal and appreciate any form of support. Tag us, share us, let your friends know. We love to see our customers happy.

Are all pieces like new?

No. Although we are known for highest quality vintage (almost all clothes are, in fact, like new), there are always some pieces that contain marks or minimal defects. That is inevitable when dealing with old vintage clothes. Also, that is often the reason someone is willing to sell it. Some would say marks adds character, we would also argue that an old rare and unique piece can come with a little bit of staining - it is still an old rare and unique piece. However, we are always genuine and honest. Defects are usually seen on the photos, and/or written in the description. Read carefully!

Are all items with marks unwashable?

No. From practise we can tell that 90% of stains would actually come off when dry cleaning, or washing at home - drop us a message under Contact section and we will advice you on how to do it.

Are all pieces male or female? How do I truly know?

Although there are technical ways to dissect, we genuinely believe there are no male/female clothing when it comes to fashion. No matter how feminine or masculine the item may look - anyone is welcome to purchase it. That is why we provide precise measurements of each piece, so anyone can be their own judge.

Is every piece a one-off?

Currated fashion is more complicated than bulk. We hand-pick each item and so they are usually one-off. Although we always have Burberry classics and more at our physical store in Brick Lane Vintage Market. Some pieces we may be able to find again - you could try raising a request via Contact section and we will get back to you.

What if measurements don’t fit me?

Take it or leave it. That’s the true vintage fashion. Every piece is unique and if you really love it, you may consider sqeezing in or wearing oversize - your decision to make. Keep in mind vintage loves oversized, always!

Why there are so many variations of Burberry lines? Are they all as valuable?

Burberry, Burberry blue, Burberry black, Burberry Brit, Burberry Golf etc. All these lines were created for specific markets and are all just as original and valuable.

What is Burberry Prorsum?

That is Burberry’s most prestigious runway-specific line.

Why is it still quite pricey even though its vintage?

First of all - every item is hand-picked. We do not do bulk and it takes a lot of time to source every piece. Second, Burberry is one of the most luxurious fashion brands in the world - its tag holds a lot of power and influence. Third, just like any luxury item - all these clothes are and will always be valuable. We always lower the price if the item has defects, however most our pieces are like new yet they are still listed for not even half of the original retail price. Even though true vintage fanatics would agree that vintage pieces are actually even more valuable than modern.
